In the second half of 2022, multiple municipal education examination bureaus announced that in view of the current COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control situation, in order to effectively protect the health and life safety of the majority of candidates and staff involved in the examination, after research, the original plan The National College English Test Bands 4 and 6 (written test) to be held on December 10, 2022 and the English Application Ability Test for Colleges and Universities to be held on December 11, 2022 will be postponed until after the start of the next semester. The specific times will be notified separately.

Candidates’ previous exam registrations will continue to be valid, and registrations will not be reorganized. Candidates who are unable to take the postponed exam can apply for a refund from the registration test center. The registration fee will be fully refunded through the original payment channel after the postponed exam. Each education examination agency reminds candidates to pay close attention to the portal websites of their respective institutions and relevant information released by the registered colleges and universities. Currently, many colleges and universities have successively announced their own examination arrangements, and many provinces have issued notices clarifying that the College English CET-4 and CET-6 will be held on March 12. No registration will be organized for this additional examination. Starting from March 1, candidates can log in to the registration system to print their admission tickets. The results of this additional examination will be available for inquiry in late April 2023 (the specific time will be notified separately). Candidates who did not take the December 2022 exam and the March 2023 additional exam due to the epidemic can submit a refund application to the test center within three working days after the end of this additional exam.
