The main responsibilities of the State Education Bureau are:

(a) to fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education and organize their implementation.

(2) To study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, draw up the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, educational system reform and school-running system reform.

(3) To be responsible for national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education and higher education (including running schools by social forces), and to coordinate, guide and supervise the educational work of all districts, counties (countries) and relevant departments.

Introduction to Cixi:

Cixi, located on the coast of the East China Sea and the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, was named after An Dong's "loving mother and filial piety" in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is 60km from Ningbo in the east, Shanghai 148km in the north and Hangzhou 138km in the west. It is the center of the economic golden triangle of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta.

Cixi is rich in tidal flat resources, and has reclaimed and developed nearly 654.38+10,000 mu of tidal flat, which is the richest land reserve resource in Zhejiang Province.

Cixi celadon culture has a long history and is known as the birthplace of "the road of marine ceramics". "South Blue and North White" laid the pattern of China ceramics. Cixi, also known as "the capital of household appliances", together with Qingdao and Shunde, is known as the three major production bases of household appliances in China. Cixi culture belongs to Wuyue culture, and Cixi people belong to Jiangsu and Zhejiang families, and use Wu language.
