How to check whether Apple's mobile phone sends and receives short messages on the computer?

You can do this by using the iMessage function. You need to open iMessage function with iCloud account on Apple mobile phone and computer.

First, set it in the Apple phone:

In "How to contact you through iMessage", at least check your mobile phone number and the email address used by Apple ID. Generally speaking, the mobile phone number is checked by default, and there is no need to make a choice.

2. To use the continuous intercommunication function of ordinary short messages on the Mac, first click the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the Mac screen, enter "information" in the search box, and then double-click the "information" item in the list:

You can choose to turn on the SMS forwarding function of the specified device. If the setting is successful, a confirmation message will be displayed on the iPhone.

Turning on text forwarding does not require turning on the iPhone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
