How does ICBC open SMS authentication

1. If you have reserved your mobile phone number when registering online banking at the counter, you can log in to online banking and select SMS authentication under the security center column to enable this function.

2. If you didn't reserve your mobile phone number when registering online banking at the counter, you can apply for opening SMS authentication service at ICBC outlets with valid identity documents.

1. ICBC will not bear relevant legal responsibilities for information loss, sending error or processing delay caused by incomplete or inaccurate reserved information, delay of SMS gateway of mobile operator, communication failure or force majeure during sending.

2. In the process of using SMS authentication service, if you still don't receive SMS within 2 minutes, you can click the "Telephone Inquiry" button in online banking, and ICBC will call your reserved mobile phone number through the 95588 customer service hotline to inform you of the transaction information and verification code.

3. ICBC provides this service free of charge, but there is no guarantee that communication operators may charge for sending or receiving short messages overseas.
