SMS verification code is a cross-platform communication service that SMS service providers can send to users after accessing the three major operators through third-party channel providers. Therefore, whether it can be sent to the user's mobile phone normally will be restricted by many factors such as mobile service and SMS gateway.

There are usually five related factors that lead to the failure or delay of receiving verification code SMS:

1. Mobile phone security software interception

For smartphones with security interception software installed, users can temporarily turn off the interception function. If you still can't receive the verification code SMS, then it is possible that the number has been blacklisted.

2. The number of acquisitions exceeds the limit.

Usually, in order to avoid the bad platform caused by malicious registration, the channel will control the maximum number of times that each mobile phone number receives the verification code before accessing the SMS verification code interface. If a higher frequency is required, a third party is needed to modify the interface parameters.

3. The SMS gateway is congested or abnormal.

In some special time periods, there may be congestion or other abnormal conditions in the SMS gateway, resulting in the delay or packet loss of the verification code SMS. At this time, it is necessary to equip enough servers and technical maintenance to ensure it.

4. Some parts are not supported.

At present, the telecom value-added services are mature, which can basically support all segments and overseas mobile phone numbers of the three major operators. However, some special newly opened number segments (such as 147 and 170) or the change of data interface will also lead to the failure of sending SMS verification code.

5. Mobile phone problem.

Due to the business restrictions of mobile phone service operators, it may be impossible to receive SMS verification code when using mobile phones abroad or using mobile phone numbers in Tibet, Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas.
