It is said that starting from October 1st, mobile phone data will not be cleared. Why do I think it should be cleared? I didn’t use up the data last month and didn’t give it to me! Have yours been cleared?

Since October 1, 2015, China Unicom has launched a free service for mobile phone users by default where the remaining traffic of the current month is not cleared in a single month. That is, the remaining traffic of the current month can be carried forward to be used before the end of the next month. If the carryover traffic at the end of the month is not used up, it will become invalid. At present, the traffic that China Unicom can carry forward can be roughly divided into the following three categories:

12G, 3G, and 4G mobile phone data included in monthly packages;

2 Mobile phones included in Smart Wo Home and Wo Family packages Users;

All domestic paid and free traffic monthly packages for 32G, 3G, and 4G, including domestic/provincial/local/community traffic monthly packages, free-time traffic monthly packages, and network age upgrade traffic.

In addition to the above situations, if the number changes the package, cancels the account, unsubscribes from the overlay data package, etc. in the same month, it may affect the carryover of the remaining data of the mobile phone package or the remaining data of the data overlay package for the month. Uncleared traffic for the next month can be superimposed on 3G traffic. For details, you can contact China Unicom customer service in the place where the number belongs. For specific carryover rules, traffic type and service activation time, please refer to local policies.
