Now that they are old, I usually give them money to buy the things they like on birthdays and holidays, but when I turn around, they give the money in red envelopes to buy study reference materials for my children.

Seeing this, I might as well buy them some practical things. I bought a massager and a heater. These things are not too expensive, but as long as they are useful to my parents.

My father had surgery a few years ago and is particularly afraid of the cold in winter, so he bought a heater for him to use in the bathroom when taking a bath. I rarely use these things, and it’s not that I’m reluctant to use them. I just feel that my parents gave me too much, and I’m doing my part by buying them some useful things.

In fact, no matter how much I buy, it is not as good as long-term companionship. Therefore, living with my parents and being able to take care of their daily life and food is my greatest blessing. Parents never want anything in return from their children, but as a child, I still want to spend more time with them to prevent them from feeling lonely.
