Recently, some criminals used "medical insurance card disabled" and other related materials to send text messages to the insured, and disguised phishing websites as websites of national ministries and commissions to commit fraud. The police reminded not to click on unfamiliar and unknown links, and not to fill in important personal information on the webpage at will, especially the SMS verification code.

The deactivation of medical insurance card means that the medical insurance card stops using and its original function is replaced by social security card. According to the provisions of the Notice on Carrying out Data Collection and Distribution of Social Security Cards, the original medical insurance cards will be stopped for three types of personnel who have received social security cards, made cards and sent them to service outlets, and applied for business card printing without collecting social security card information. If the collected social security card information is still in the process of business card printing, the original medical insurance card can still be used.

Article 7 To apply for issuing social security cards, the following materials shall be submitted:

(1) Fill in a complete social security card issuance registration application form;

(2) An explanation of the preparation for the issuance of social security cards;

(3) The application fields and application file structures in the card that meet the requirements of the national unified specifications (including the application fields and indicators of local expansion);

(four) the card face style designed according to the unified requirements;

(five) the measures for the administration of social security cards in this area and the detailed rules for their implementation;

(six) other materials required by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

Eighth social security card registration and approval procedures:

(1) When issuing social security cards, the provincial human resources and social security departments shall submit the application materials to the office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Informatization Leading Group for review.

(two) municipal human resources and social security departments to issue social security cards, the application materials should be submitted to the provincial human resources and social security departments for preliminary examination. After passing the preliminary examination, it shall be reported to the Office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Informatization Leading Group for review.

(3) With the approval of the Office of the Information Leading Group of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the identification numbers of the social security card issuers are uniformly distributed to the areas that have approved the issuance of social security cards, and shall be filed with the National IC Card Registration Center in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state.

(four) in the card-issuing area, if the structure of the social security card surface and the file in the card is changed, it must be reported to the Office of the Information Leading Group of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security for re-examination. Any change of card-issuing suppliers and products, expansion of card-issuing quantity and increase of card-issuing quantity shall be reported to the Office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Informatization Leading Group for the record.
