What temples are there in Hangzhou?

1. Lingyin Temple: Also known as Yunlin Temple, it was built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (326), and the founder of Lingyin Temple was Huili, a West Indian monk. In the Southern Dynasties, Liang Wudi granted land and expanded it. Lingyin Temple is mainly composed of Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Pharmacist Hall, Fatang Hall and Huayan Hall as the central axis, with 500 Luohan Hall, Jigong Hall, Huayan Pavilion, Dabei Building and Abbot Building on both sides. The current abbot is Master Guangquan.

2. yongfu temple: yongfu temple is located at the foot of Shuan Peak, about one mile west of Lingyin Temple. It has a history of 1600 years since Zen master Huili built the mountain in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The yongfu temple created by Zen Master Huili is very charming. Many people even say it is the most beautiful temple in Hangzhou!

3. Taoguang Temple: It was built by Taoguang monk, a place name in central Sichuan, and rebuilt by King Yue of Wu in the third year of Tianfu in the Five Dynasties (938). 1982 Daoguang Temple was rebuilt into an open-air hall after it was destroyed by fire, and it was named Deep in Baiyun.

4. Lingshun Temple: The temple was founded in 326 AD (during the reign of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty) and is the earliest famous temple in Hangzhou. One of the five spirits built by Indian monk Huili in Hangzhou, during the Northern Song Dynasty, it was called the "God of Wealth Temple" because the "Five Gods of Wealth" were enshrined in the temple in the early Northern Song Dynasty. Lingshun Temple is known as the first temple of wealth in the world. On the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, Lingshun Temple was very lively and crowded with people. Lingshun Temple can take the Beifeng cableway up and down the mountain.
