If an accident occurs when a motor vehicle is driving in a non-motor vehicle lane, the responsibility of the party concerned shall be determined according to the role played by the party concerned in the road traffic accident and the severity of the fault. If both parties are responsible for the accident, and the responsibilities are equal, both parties are equally responsible. The behavior of motor vehicles driving in non-motor vehicle lanes is illegal and shall be dealt with separately by the traffic police department.
