Introduction to corporate culture theory

Corporate culture is a brand-new business management theory. It originated in Japan and was formed in the United States. It follows the classical management theory (also known as scientific management), behavioral science management theory, and jungle school management theory (also known as Management Science), the fourth management stage theory that emerged in the history of world business management, also known as the "fourth management revolution" in the history of world business management. The books that marked the birth of corporate culture were "Theory Z - How American Companies Meet the Challenge of Japan" published in the United States from 1981 to 1984, by William Ouchi; "The Art of Japanese Business Management", by Richard Pascal and Anthony Athos; "Corporate Culture—The Spiritual Pillar of Modern Enterprises" (also translated as "Corporate Culture"), by Terence Dill and Allen Kennedy; "Searching for Advantage—The Advantages of America's Most Successful Companies" (also translated as "The Road to Success"), written by Thomas Peters and Robert Waterman, Jr., and "The Spirit of American Entrepreneurship-Eight Principles for Future Business Operations" by Lawrence Miller. Corporate culture believes that the basic principle of corporate management is people-oriented, that is, respecting human personality and promoting human development. The reason why successful companies succeed does not lie in their funds, technology, equipment, buildings, sales networks and other hardware , but lies in having a corporate culture committed to people's development.
