Purpose of the association: unite and organize groups and individuals from all walks of life in the city to carry out intellectual sports such as chess and cards, improve the competitive level of chess, checkers, go, chess, gobang and bridge in our city, and promote the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.

Scope of business: Cooperate with the education authorities to carry out chess activities on campus, strengthen quality education, give play to the role of promoting young people's intellectual development, guide the popularization of chess in the city, host or cooperate with relevant departments to hold municipal, provincial, national and academic exchange activities, assist the municipal sports bureau authorities in examining and approving the title of amateur chess player and the qualification evaluation of coaches and referees, and strive for and accept social donations, grants and gifts.
