Old Leshan, also known as Leshan, is located 1 kilometers northwest of Queshan County and 9 kilometers away from Zhumadian City. It consists of nine peaks with different heights. Formerly known as Langshan, according to historical records, Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty was renamed Leshan in five years because it avoided the name of Zhao, the ancestor of the Song Dynasty. All kinds of vegetation here grow vigorously all year round, green and permanent, with bamboo in the forest, pine in strange rocks, winding paths in deep valleys and misty clouds.
