The general safety requirements for machining workshops are as follows:

(1) The distance between mechanical equipment and small equipment shall not be less than .7m;; Medium-sized equipment is not less than 1m; Large equipment is not less than 2m. The rotation of operators and equipment should be staggered back to back or face to face. The main channel should be marked with white lines or warning signs;

(2) Workpieces, blanks and tools should be stored neatly, stably and reliably, and stacked in categories, so as to achieve fixed management. The stacking height shall not exceed 1.2m;;

(3) The floor of the workshop should be smooth and tidy, and the industrial garbage, waste oil, waste water and waste in the workplace should be cleaned up in time, and the safety passage of the workshop should be unblocked;

(4) The production site should have good lighting. Daylighting can be divided into natural lighting and artificial lighting. When natural lighting can't reach the illumination during the day, artificial local lighting should be adopted. The general illumination is about 15 lux, and the precision operation should be about 3 lux.

(5) It is not suitable to store gasoline, kerosene and other inflammable and explosive articles in the production site for a long time. Necessary fire-fighting appliances shall be provided. Advocate no smoking or smoking in designated places (smoking rooms) on the job site;

(6) Wear labor protection articles correctly and enter the operation post. In summer, it is not allowed to wear shirtless clothes, vests, shorts, skirts, high heels and sandals.
