Photo album and imaging data production requirements

4.3.1 Photo album production requirements

A photo album is an album that uses photos to reflect the original status of the project, each construction process, and the effect after completion. The following is an explanation one by one in the order of the contents of the photo album.

1) The cover of the photo album uses a picture that can reflect the overall completion effect of the project as the background. The cover content includes the project name, construction unit, and date.

2) Project introduction and photo album directory: The introduction lists the construction unit, design unit, supervision unit and construction unit of the project, and briefly explains the construction period requirements, quality requirements, scale, cost, and the main reasons for the project. Hazards and main engineering measures taken. The catalog is generally arranged according to the principles of original appearance, construction works of each construction section, and completed results.

3) The first part is the construction preparation part, including the erection of temporary buildings, arrangements for water, electricity and roads, production and hanging of warning slogans, enclosure construction, opening ceremony and arrival of machinery and materials, etc. A series of construction preparation content, each content is shown with 1 to 2 photos.

4) The second part is the construction process of each construction section. First, the original appearance of the construction section is displayed, then each construction process is displayed according to the construction sequence, and finally the effects achieved through treatment are displayed. The original photos in this part are the original photos of each construction section. They are required to be taken from the same angle and at the same location as the effect photos of each construction section, so as to achieve a sufficient contrast effect. The construction process in the middle can be a close-up of a part. For example, partial photos can be used to reflect anchor construction, concrete pouring or steel bar binding.

5) The third part is the quality assurance measures of the project. Reflections were made from the aspects of construction organization design review, drawing review, technical explanation, on-site sampling, experimental inspection and supervision work.

6) The fourth part is the safety assurance measures of the project. This is reflected in safety briefings, safety education, and targeted safety measures taken on-site.

7) The fifth part is the civilized construction part of the project. Use photos to reflect the specific civilized construction measures taken in the project, such as construction site gates, guards, warning mirrors, offices, dormitories, canteens, signboards, noise reduction, dust control and garbage disposal arranged in accordance with standardized management requirements.

8) The sixth part is the renderings of the completed project. Compare the original appearance and the completed effect of the overall project, or compare the original appearance and the completed effect by dividing the construction sections according to the actual situation of the project (Figure 28 shows the original appearance of the mountain in the 2012 Jinan Yanchi Mountain Greening Improvement Project; Figure 29 shows the completed effect).

9) The paper for the photo album shall be uniformly 200g coated paper, printed on one side, and 6 to 9 photos will be arranged on each sheet of paper (can be adjusted appropriately according to the actual situation).

10) Indicate the content of the photo in the lower right part of the photo, such as the original appearance of Area A, anchor construction, etc.

11) Use steel rings to punch holes and attach matte plastic to the surface.

4.3.2 Image production requirements

Image materials are required to record the original appearance of the project, the construction process, and the effects achieved after construction in the form of images. The following should be noted when producing image data:

1) The image data that reflects the original appearance before the project treatment must have an overall bird's-eye view and reflect an overall impression. If you stand at a high place to record the overall situation of the construction site, you can record it separately or take a close-up if necessary.

2) Record the construction process separately according to the construction sections divided by construction, focusing on recording each major construction key points, such as slope cutting and unloading, anchor construction, spray protection, etc. When recording, please note that construction workers must wear safety helmets in accordance with regulations, and workers working at heights must take corresponding protective measures.

3) The completion effect must be recorded in the same position as the original appearance to ensure a good comparison with the original appearance and specifically reflect the changes before and after the treatment of each construction section.

4) The imaging time is required to be about 10 minutes. There must be explanations in the images, and the explanations should focus on the construction conditions of the project.

5) The content and commentary reflected in the image data generally follow the following outline sequence:

Project name, project origin, construction unit, design unit, supervision unit and construction unit. Can be displayed in chart form.

The overall original appearance of the project and close-ups of key parts. Briefly introduce the project overview (such as location, height, coordinates, scope, etc.), existing hazards and problems, and what are the main control measures that need to be taken.

Reflect each construction process by construction section and process. For example, in the A construction section, the line is laid out first, then the slope is cut and unloaded, then the retaining wall is built, and finally the lattice structure is built, etc., and then the B and C construction sections are started in sequence. Images of the construction process are the focus of this material.

Reflects the targeted measures taken during the construction process Quality control measures, safety control measures and civilized construction measures (see photo album requirements for specific content).

Record of completion results. The requirements must achieve a sufficient comparison effect with the original appearance, reflecting that through the treatment within the set construction period, problems have been eliminated, the environment beautified, and the purpose of treatment has been achieved.

4.3.3 The connection and difference between images and photo collections

Image materials focus on the macro, while photo collections focus on the details. For example, construction section A has five steps including laying out lines, cutting slopes and unloading, building retaining walls, building lattice structures, and covering soil with greening. The images only need to reflect these five steps, while the photo data needs to further reflect the process of building retaining walls. Every detail of the specific construction technology including excavation of foundation trench, pouring concrete foundation, rough stone masonry, joint pressing, weep holes, reservation and treatment of expansion joints.

Image materials and photo albums reflect the same problem in terms of large-scale structure. They both record the original appearance, construction process and management effects of the project. The images reflect macro issues in a dynamic form, while the photo album uses a static form. The form reflects the details and complements each other.
