Therefore, the cutting tool needs to be specially made, and the cutting speed during machining should be controlled in a very slow range. In order to improve the processing speed, some large factories even use liquid nitrogen cooling to cool titanium alloys. In addition, there is a danger of burning when processing titanium alloys. Due to the characteristics of titanium alloy, tiny titanium alloy particles will burn at about 200 degrees, so fire prevention measures must be taken when cutting a small amount of titanium alloy. Because of this characteristic, titanium alloy cannot be cut by laser or plasma at high temperature. In addition, titanium alloy welding must also be carried out in a vacuum environment. The processing difficulty mentioned above is only part of it. To sum up, it can be seen that titanium alloy has many advantages, but its processing cost is not small.
