China Charity Federation

China charity federation is a national non-profit public welfare social organization, which is legally registered with the approval of China Municipal Government and voluntarily participated by citizens, legal persons and other social organizations who are enthusiastic about charity.

The purpose is to carry forward the humanitarian spirit, carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation to help the poor and help the unfortunate individuals and difficult groups in society to carry out various forms of social assistance.

2018 September 10, won the 10th "China Charity Award".

China charity federation was founded in 1994, and currently there are 40 1 member units in China. The first president of china charity federation was Mr. Cui Naifu; The second president is Mr. Yan Mingfu; The third president is the 9th and 10th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Standing Committee, and Mr. Fan Baojun, former Deputy Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Party Group of the Ministry of Civil Affairs; The fourth chairman is Mr. Li Bengong, deputy to the 11th National People's Congress, member of the Financial and Economic Committee and former executive deputy director of the National Office for Ageing. The current president is Mr. Gong Puguang, vice chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the National People's Congress and former vice minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Since its establishment, china charity federation has always adhered to the purpose of the Federation, actively advocated charity awareness, strived to open up the service areas of charity work, mobilized social forces extensively, raised charitable funds in various ways, and cooperated with relevant government departments to do a lot of work in emergency relief, poverty alleviation, helping the elderly and orphans, medical assistance, teaching and learning, and achieved remarkable results.

In recent years, china charity federation has paid special attention to its unique characteristics of wide coverage, and has carried out dozens of charitable projects in eight aspects, such as disaster relief, poverty alleviation, old-age care, helping orphans, teaching, helping students, helping the disabled and helping doctors, and gradually formed a large-scale charitable rescue system all over the country. Up to now, china charity federation has directly raised charitable funds and materials, equivalent to more than RMB120 billion, and tens of millions of needy people have received different forms of assistance.

Major fund-raising activities are audited by the National Audit Office and are subject to social supervision at any time. China charity federation has continuously strengthened its external liaison work, established good cooperative relations with many charitable organizations in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas, and jointly implemented a number of cooperative projects, which have been widely recognized by international charitable organizations. From 65438 to 0998, china charity federation joined the United Road International Organization (now renamed "Global United Road") and became an important member of the organization in Chinese mainland.
