At present, our region is entering a brand-new historical development period. The new situation and new requirements have brought new development opportunities to the majority of women in our region, provided a broad world to display their talents, and also posed severe challenges to women. Facing the challenge, how to do a good job in women's work is a problem worth thinking about.

Women's work faces four major challenges: first, the challenges of a large number of social people. With the deepening of the restructuring, a large number of women have changed from "unit people" to "social people" and gradually drifted away from the Women's Federation. The second is the challenge of various economic forms. With the emergence of various economic forms, there have been a large number of hidden employment of women, and the phenomenon of damaging the labor rights and interests of female employees in special informal employment and mobile employment has occurred from time to time, and it is difficult to protect the legitimate rights and interests of female employees. Third, the challenge of gender discrimination still exists. Some social problems, such as the difficulty of female college students' employment, laid-off women workers' employment and women's self-employment, have hindered the process of gender equality to some extent. The fourth is the challenge of marriage and family. With the increase of divorce rate, the quality of family marriage is declining, and the social status of women is also declining. The four challenges urgently need to improve women's comprehensive quality, and women's federations urgently need to expand their work fields, and the task of safeguarding rights is getting heavier and heavier.

The thinking of women's Federation's work: full coverage, multi-carrier, and pragmatic.

Full coverage of the organizational system: with the goal of "where there are women, there are women's organizations and there are women's work", we will strive to build a socialized and mass network-like organizational network with communities and villages as the warp and other women's organizations as the weft. Strive to maintain the independence of township and street women's federations;

In the community, actively establish community women's work joint organizations and various women's interest organizations;

In the village group, choose community pilot, explore and innovate the construction of new rural grassroots organizations, set up village women's federations, and openly compete for women's Federation cadres;

In the field of non-public economy, we will promote the formation of an organizational structure of "party building with league building" and support and encourage the establishment of different types of women's organizations;

In relevant organizations and units, based on the articles of association, actively promote the establishment of women's committees, and at the same time vigorously develop the team of "women volunteers" and establish a contact system for women representatives to diversify the team of women workers.

Multi-carrier of work content: a diversified team of female workers will inevitably bring multi-level and multi-carrier women's work. It is necessary to constantly enrich the carrier of activities, expand the extension of activities, build multi-level carriers and platforms for women's survival and development, and form a good social atmosphere. First, build a carrier and platform for women to participate in economic development, constantly enrich the connotation of the two main activities of "women's contribution" and "double innovation and double competition" around the center of economic construction, and carry out work around "three industry" for different clients to help older women find jobs, guide young women to start businesses and encourage working women to become talents;

The second is to build a platform for cultivating high-quality women talents, make a fuss about "family", vigorously implement the "women's quality project", take the creation of "learning family" as an important measure to create "five good civilized families", guide women to establish the concept of lifelong learning, and at the same time use community resources to carry out extensive multi-level and multi-category training activities to help women improve their knowledge structure and enhance their adaptability, competitiveness and innovation ability.

Third, build a carrier and platform to optimize women's development environment, seize the opportunity of the convening of the provincial women's work conference and the * * city group work conference, and take the opinions of the provincial party Committee on thoroughly implementing the basic national policy of equality between men and women to accelerate women's development and the opinions of the municipal party Committee on strengthening women's development as an opportunity to vigorously publicize the basic national policy of equality between men and women, publicize advanced gender culture, publicize women's position and role in the construction of "three civilizations", and advocate respect and care for women in the whole region. It is necessary to give full play to the advantages of the member units of the Behavioral Women and Children Working Committee, coordinate the efforts of all parties, improve the socialized operation mechanism of * * *, earnestly pay attention to solving the problem of mass letters and visits, attach great importance to women's employment, social security for landless women, labor protection for women in enterprises, the legitimate rights and interests of migrant women, the family environment for their children's growth, marriage and family, and strive to solve problems for them.

Pay attention to practical results in working methods: If the Women's Federation wants to truly embody the idea of representing women and safeguarding women's interests, it should not only stay in propaganda and mobilization, organize advocacy, but also be a doer, find the right entrance at the three-dimensional intersection of "what the party and government urgently need, what women need and what the Women's Federation can do" and achieve "three surrounds" and "three services", that is, around the overall situation and the center. Change the institutionalized and administrative office to the working mode of going deep into and serving the grassroots, reduce the work arrangement, go deep into the grassroots and guide and help. Carry out work with local conditions and characteristics. We don't need to cover all aspects of grass-roots work, but let work characteristics dominate the assessment. Change "I design, you participate" into "you need me to interact" activity mode, provide enterprises with information on policies, technologies, funds, management, etc., create some carriers for enterprises to display their image, build some platforms, and form a win-win situation with enterprises. In all work, it is more important to emphasize women's enthusiasm, tap their potential, let women step onto the front desk, play a leading role, and truly become the main body of work.
