On February 17, the Conscription Office of Gucheng County People's Government issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in Conscription during COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control, and adjusted the annual conscription work.

The notice pointed out that according to the Notice of the General Office of the State Council and the General Office of the Central Military Commission on Postponement of Conscription in the First Half of 2020 and the requirement of Postponement of Conscription in the First Half of 2020 to the Second Half of 2020, in order to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and steadily push forward the completion of the annual conscription task, the annual conscription work is now adjusted as follows:

① The recruitment time is adjusted to start in August 1, start in September 10 and end on September 30th;

(2) The examination and approval time of conscription and the start time of length of military service are unified as September 20201;

③ Cancel the policy that 20 19 female graduates can participate in the recruitment of female soldiers in the first half of 2020, and relax the recruitment age to 23 years old;

④ The deadline for registration of male soldiers was adjusted to August 2020 1. Those who have completed registration in the first half of the year do not need to register again, and the system will automatically transfer to the second half of the year;

⑤ The deadline for female soldiers to register is adjusted to August 5, 2020. Those who have completed the registration in the first half of the year do not need to register again except those who graduated from 20 19, and the system will automatically transfer to the second half of the year.

The notice requires that all relevant units, while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, mainly complete the following tasks:

Master the spirit of thorough understanding. The conscription work in the first half of the year was only postponed, not cancelled. The total number of annual recruitment tasks of each unit remains unchanged, the key targets of recruitment remain unchanged, and the intensity of each work remains unchanged.

Release information in time. Various channels will disclose the contents of this notice adjustment to the public, ensure that all school-age teenagers and parents know, and focus on preventing recruitment rumors, fraud and other issues.

Do a good job in education and guidance. Seriously and patiently do a good job in policy consultation and answering questions for young recruits and their parents, and actively assist in solving the contradictions and difficulties brought about by policy adjustment, especially the postponement of enlistment.
