Olympic slogan and purpose

Slogan: higher, faster and stronger. Higher, faster and stronger.

Purpose: Since the revival of the modern Olympic Movement, the Olympic spirit has experienced a historical evolution from challenging itself and pursuing the coordination and all-round development of human body and mind to pursuing the humanization of sports competitions, the pluralistic harmony of human culture and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. In the history of modern Olympic movement, there is a slogan "always strive for the first place and always surpass others". Today, many people of insight believe that it is not enough to advocate "faster, higher and stronger". We must advocate a more humane and United Olympic spirit. In the words of 1908, the archbishop of Pennsylvania, who presided over the sermon, that is: "participation is more important than winning."
