Jinhua City Archives originated from Jinhua District Archives established in June, 1982. Jinhua Archives Bureau was established in June, 1986, and it is co-located. 200 1 The former Jinhua County Archives Bureau (Museum) was merged into Jinhua Archives Bureau (Museum). The new municipal archives was completed and put into use in 2007. Covering an area of 44 mu, it has a garden-like layout. It is divided into four functional areas: public service area, precious file storage area, professional file storage area and administrative office area. Phase I construction area 1 1882 m2. After it was put into use, it set a precedent for the construction of new libraries in the province and made a demonstration. Jinhua Archives is the centralized and unified storage base of Jinhua Archives (including Wucheng District and Jindong District), the center for all sectors of society to use archives and study historical materials, and the national first-class comprehensive archives. In 2008, it was awarded as "Jinhua Patriotism Education Base", "Zhejiang Archives Patriotism Education Demonstration Base" in 20 10, and "Provincial Patriotism Education Base" in 20 13.
