At the beginning of July this year, in the process of collecting information through household visits, Comrade Zhang Xingcai heard from residents that the public security in the community seems to be not as good as it used to be, and electric bicycles parked under residential buildings and theft of residents' homes occasionally occur. After hearing this, Zhang Xingcai kept it firmly in mind. He was very happy to have such trust in the masses and to reflect the public security problems face to face. However, he felt deeply guilty and self-reproached about the case in the community, and he also felt a great responsibility on his shoulders. He calmed down, carefully analyzed the characteristics of recent cases, and actively thought about measures to strengthen public security. You can think when you hear it, and you can do it when you think about it. Therefore, Zhang Xingcai, on the one hand, combined with the information collection work, issued public security warnings to residents to remind them to take precautions against themselves. On the other hand, in view of the fact that the property of Jingtingyuan Community is in the stage of restructuring and the night patrol of security personnel is abnormal, he resolutely decided to take over the night patrol work of the community, going from house to house during the day, collecting information and shuttling around every corner of the community at night. In the past two months, there has not been a preventable and property-infringing case in the community, and the community has regained a good public security atmosphere. In the information collection work, Zhang Xingcai specially registered the "empty nesters", disabled people and destitute families in Jingtingyuan Community. Whenever he has free time, he goes to the house to find out the situation and help solve practical difficulties as much as he can. In early June, Zhang Xingcai heard residents report that there was something abnormal in Room 33, Building B9. He immediately visited the family and learned that there were three people in the family, a couple and a daughter. The girl's father, Chen Wending, died in a different place in May this year because of cancer. But it never rains but it pours. On the way back to Xuancheng, the family was involved in a car accident, with 4 deaths and 2 injuries. Among them, the girl's mother was not spared and became a vegetable, and she has not yet woken up. Because the girl can't stand the sudden and painful blow, she suffers from schizophrenia, and she can't take care of herself in all aspects of life. She cries when she is sick, which makes the residents restless. Zhang Xingcai promptly reported this situation to the neighborhood committees, residential properties and other units, and rushed to Wuhu Hospital with relevant departments to visit the injured who were being treated, and cooperated with her family to send the girl to a mental hospital for treatment. A family of three died, injured and sick, and Zhang Xingcai became the "caretaker" of this empty house. According to the requirements of the Chen family's relatives, Zhang Xingcai also sorted out and stored the money, securities and other economic accounts and household appliances in his family. For this reason, more than ten relatives and friends of the Chen family made a special trip to the police office in Zhang Xingcai and presented a book with a banner of "People's Police for the People" to express their gratitude to Lao Zhang.
