Grab the tail of the holiday

There are seven days off on National Day. Seeing that the holiday balance was insufficient, although it was raining in Mao Mao outside, I decided to go out for a walk. Because of the epidemic, I dare not go far away, for fear that I will not come back in case of an epidemic, and the loss will outweigh the gain. Moreover, the scenic spots in our local county are also crowded, and almost all the places where we can soak in hot springs nearby can't go. Tang Chi is as annoying as Xiajiao.

So we chose a "scenic spot", which is actually not a scenic spot, but rather a section of the road. This 60-kilometer-long road is a newly-built Panshan Highway, known as "the most beautiful country road in Chengde" and named "Pan Yun Road". As the name implies, this section of the road is built because it is a winding mountain. The highest place is more than 900 meters above sea level. Looking from the foot of the mountain, it seems that the road has been built to the clouds, which is very spectacular. Unfortunately, it's raining today, and I can't see the blue sky and white clouds, so I have to go online to find a map.

But rainy days have the advantage of rainy days, because few people travel on rainy days, and they can't see the car after driving for half an hour. This foggy appearance adds a sense of tranquility, just like entering a fairyland. Seeing an iron tower standing between the clouds in the middle adds a sharp metallic texture to this mystery and brings people an unknown little fear and inexplicable little excitement.

On the way, a section of Pan Yun Road was interrupted for hundreds of meters because of the continuous rainfall in the past few days. We can only detour to the original old road. By comparison, this road is really well built. The old road is narrow and rugged, and people will get carsick after driving for a while. What's more, they can't get on the wrong bus at all. They have to pour tens of meters to find a slightly wider road. I happened to see a cyclist head-on, and it was difficult to get off the wrong bus.

Finally, I drove through the muddy road and back to Pan Yun Road, but when I reached the top of the mountain, I was not allowed to drive because the road was being repaired. Right next to it, there is an observation deck, holding an umbrella and looking at this road again. It twists and turns for dozens of miles. This Pan Yun highway, with an investment of over 100 million yuan, is like a dragon looming in the fog among mountains, which is very spectacular.

On the penultimate day of the holiday, I drove for three hours just to walk for a while. Some people may think that this is nothing to do. Actually, it's true, but at least it's a family outing, talking and laughing. Otherwise, it's even more boring to brush Tik Tok at home on rainy days.

More importantly, we are also practicing a spirit in this trip, just as there is a slogan on Pan Yun Road: Read thousands of books and take Wan Li Road.
