What does the Maker Competition mean?

Maker Competition is a Chinese innovation and entrepreneurship competition jointly directed by Torch Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee and Shenzhen Guangming New District Management Committee. The Maker Competition of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by Shenzhen Science and Technology Business Incubator Association was officially launched in Shenzhen.

Maker takes user innovation as its core concept, which is a typical embodiment of the innovation 2.0 model facing the knowledge society in the field of design and manufacturing.
