As the saying goes, fire and water are ruthless. On June 5, last year, a fire broke out in the factory of LG Electronics, a world-famous electronics company, in Huizhou. The total value of raw materials and finished products was 100 million yuan, and several people were buried in the sea of fire. On June 10 this year, a particularly serious fire accident occurred in Huanan Hotel, Xiashan Town, Chaonan District, Shantou City, causing 3 1 person to die and 2 1 person to be injured. The direct cause was only a short circuit fault. These fires have left us with the deepest and most painful lessons. Our company belongs to an electronic manufacturing enterprise, and the raw materials and finished products stored by the company are huge and of high value. The raw materials and finished products we use are basically flammable, and some of them are even highly flammable dangerous chemicals, so fire fighting work is particularly important in our enterprise. Our company has always emphasized fire prevention in safety production, and we try our best to improve the fire prevention awareness of employees. In terms of hardware measures, we installed advanced automatic fire alarm control system and fire water system in the company's factory area. Each location shall be equipped with sufficient fire-fighting equipment, and designated persons shall manage and maintain the fire-fighting equipment to ensure that the fire-fighting equipment is not damaged, lost or transferred, and can be replenished in time. In some key fire prevention parts, we have specially set up automatic fire extinguishing systems. Our fire fighting aim is to be vigilant at all times, everyone is responsible and everything is guaranteed.

What I want to emphasize here is that for various reasons, many of our employees still don't know how to use fire extinguishers and how to deal with emergencies. In order to solve this problem well and effectively improve the fire fighting skills of all our employees, the company's safety Committee and the company's trade union decided to organize such a fire fighting competition. Of course, in recent years, we have been carrying out similar activities every year. The investigation results show that the direct cause of this gas explosion is the spark caused by illegal live maintenance, and the underground gas concentration has exceeded the standard at this time. Sad! So sad! Such a simple "truth", don't our workers "understand" in "its territory"? If the repairman can operate in strict accordance with the operating rules and cut off the power supply before maintenance, there will be no sparks and accidents may be avoided; But he didn't do it. Maybe it's to save effort, maybe he's lucky. He just tried to avoid responsibility by being lazy. Perhaps this worker, like other workers, has been "lazy" many times and "escaped" disasters again and again. From the perspective of human factors in the mine disaster in Sun Jia, we also see various signs behind the safety accident: there is an interval of 1 1 minute between the mine earthquake and the gas explosion. If the power is cut off in time or the miners are evacuated immediately, even if there is an explosion, the casualties can be reduced. However, because the power is not decisively ordered after the alarm, it is reported step by step, which delays the time. This is enough to see the disadvantages brought by the "production priority" management system driven by economic interests. For the sake of efficiency, business leaders did not put "safety first" in a weak position, or paid no attention to safety at all. The subjective phenomenon of "safety is a piece of paper, it is not up to me" is still widespread. Groups of surprising and painful data are the lives that fell before the end. "Peace, long live!" In the face of countless lives that have lost their right to live because of ignoring safety, I can't help but sigh again.

Speaking of "putting on a show", some units and leaders have done a lot of work in this regard. Superior inspection, report, show "show" in front of them, but it's still the same afterwards. At ordinary times, he keeps saying that he attaches importance to safety, but it's actually just a "beautiful" colloquial language. The phenomenon of "what is said is important, what is done is secondary, and it is unnecessary to be busy" still exists objectively in many enterprises or individuals.
