Why did the Libyan opposition hang up Chinese slogans?

1. China is a permanent member of the Security Council and has little influence on the international situation in Libya. At least there was no vote against the no-fly zone vote.

2. China used to have a large number of projects and personnel working in Libya, which had a certain influence on the local people in Libya. Therefore, the Libyan people feel that China is a very important part of the world and has great influence. Obviously, what they feel is different from our actual impact, but the Libyans feel it, so they wrote an appeal in Chinese.

3. If most daily necessities in a country say Made in China, how can we not think of China at such an international gathering? Chinese?

4. China has some reporters in the city where this slogan is located; it is useful to see, get your interest and maybe some political sympathy.
