Hard-core motorcycle brigade: riding the westernmost tip of the motherland and breaking into the secret territory of Pamirs, there is almost no rebellion.

From Ali, Tibet, I rode 1800 kilometers along the G2 19 new Tibet line and finally entered Xinjiang.

Ahead of the journey is the Pamirs, the westernmost part of China. From Kashgar to Tashkurgan County, we drove Honda CB400X along karakoram highway.

Karakoram highway is a spectacular international highway, which shows the majestic, steep and quiet beauty of Pamirs to the fullest. It is also a road of friendship built with life, one of the top ten dangerous roads in the world.

Karakoram highway starts in Kashgar, Xinjiang, China and ends in Takot, Pakistan, with a total length of1032km. It stretches for 416km in China, and reaches Hongqilafu, the border port between China and Pakistan.

1965 At the end of the Second India-Pakistan War, China and Pakistan signed an agreement to build the karakoram highway in order to further consolidate the defense alliance. From the Cold War to today, it is still the most important land link between China and Pakistan.

Karakoram highway passes through the Hindu Kush Mountains, Pamirs, the western end of Himalayas and Kashmir, and its geological conditions are extremely complicated. Avalanches, landslides, falling rocks, landslides, snow, ice accumulation, earthquakes and other geological disasters often occur.

China sent 22,000 engineers and road builders, and Pakistan sent more than 6,000 people. In the process of highway construction, about 8 10 people in China and Pakistan gave their lives, which is almost equivalent to one life per kilometer of highway.

Due to the great difficulty in construction, karakoram highway is known as one of the top ten steep slopes in the world. Over the years, karakoram highway has been rebuilt several times, and now we are riding on a new road that has just been rebuilt and opened to traffic.

The lowest altitude in karakoram highway is Tacot, only 460 meters, and the highest altitude is Hongqilafu Port, with an altitude of 4,733 meters. /kloc-more than 0/000 kilometers, with an altitude drop of more than 4,000 meters. The landform along the highway is changeable and constantly changing.

Starting from Kashgar and heading south to Tashkurgan, the first100km of the journey is a low-altitude section. Before entering the Pamirs, a large area of Danxia landform appeared near the valley.

This is the result of the orogeny in the Himalayas in the Late Tertiary (about 23 million years ago), which can be popularly understood as: the red rock strata under the surface rose and were weathered and eroded by running water, forming isolated and bare red rocks.

The essence of Danxia landform is the result of earth geological movement, but human beings who claim to have aesthetic ability have always been obsessed with this unique color.

There is a cloud in the poem: Danxia catches the bright moon, and Huaxing gives a cloud.

After more than ten kilometers, it entered the mountainous section, and the altitude quickly rose to 3000 meters+. The mountains are covered with snow, presenting a magnificent and rugged scene.

A large area of glaciers began to appear on the roadside, just like a frozen waterfall. Karakorum Mountain is the cradle of glaciers, which have bred many large glaciers for thousands of years, including Mustag, the father of glaciers in the world.

With global warming, the glaciers in the Karakorum Mountains are expanding as glaciers around the world tend to melt and die.

The snowfall in Karakorum Mountain is also increasing year by year. Although the Pamirs is still in summer, with an altitude of only over 3,000 meters, the continuous mountains are already spectacular.

Leaving the road and going down a gravel road, we tried to get close to the wasteland and snow-capped mountains.

Red gravel soil, almost barren land and snowy mountains set off a desolate and heroic western style. Only on the Pamirs can you see this unparalleled magnificent sight.

Just as we were intoxicated with the desolate beauty brought by glaciers, mountains and western customs, the Pamirs took out a more hard-core landscape collection. Baisha Lake, a mysterious fairy lake.

The lake presents a pleasing Tiffany blue, but the shore is covered with mountains covered with sand. There is no desert nearby. Where did this sand come from?

There is a widely accepted saying that sand is washed by river water, white sand is deposited on the shore, exposed to water in dry season and blown up the hillside by strong wind.

After leaving Baisha Lake, we continued to ride, and the Pamirs prepared another beautiful lake for us-Lake Karakuli at an altitude of 4 100 meters. The beauty is overwhelming, and this is Pamir's enthusiasm.

In Kirgiz, Karakuri means "Black Water Lake". When we arrived, the lake was blue and pure. It's hard to imagine that the lake would turn dark black when dark clouds swept over the top.

Finally, the most precious landscape collection in Pamirs appeared-Mustag, the father of glaciers, with an altitude of 7509 meters.

This mountain is magnificent, and a large area of snow does not melt all year round, like an old man with white hair and beard.

There are as many as 10 glaciers with a thickness of 100-200m, which is the highest in the world. The title of "Father of Glaciers" is both vivid and well deserved.

On a highland near Mustaghata, next to karakoram highway, the Pamirs has interpreted fantastic and magnificent geography to the extreme.

But Pamir's surprise is always ahead of the road. After passing Mustag, the altitude dropped to about 3000 meters, and the plateau concealed its majestic posture, showing the picturesque, dreamy and poetic beauty of the secret.

In the oil painting world under the snow-capped mountains, a cow calmly looked at the surprised distant tourists. Tajiks are busy harvesting forage.

In the past 20 days, we have experienced 6000 kilometers of plateau riding, countless times crossing Daban in Ali, Tibet, and trudging on the roof at an altitude of 5000 meters. Everyone is exhausted. But in Tashkurgan, the sunburned man showed a long-lost smile.

Riding on the Pamirs is a pleasure. The altitude here is not high, and there is almost no altitude sickness. The oncoming wind is warm, sunny and not strong.

No longer obsessed with high opposition, but obsessed with the secrets of the roadside, crossing the Pamirs is the most comfortable and beautiful plateau trip you can experience.
