1 Establish safety awareness and strengthen maintenance

First of all, because elevators are special equipment, equipment and personal injury and death accidents are prone to occur, so the importance of safety must be widely publicized among elevator employees nature and necessity, firmly establish the idea of ????"safety first", and put safety first in work at all times and everywhere. Secondly, establish an elevator safety management system, such as elevator safety operating procedures, elevator maintenance work procedures, elevator overhaul and emergency accident handling procedures, elevator car rescue procedures, elevator new installation inspection and annual inspection inspection procedures, and operator training and assessment system, technical file management system, etc.; set up corresponding safety management positions, such as elevator maintenance workers, security inspectors, safety directors, etc., and implement vertical safety management of "company manager → safety director → security inspector → elevator maintenance workers", and implement it layer by layer The safety responsibility system ensures that the responsibility is assigned to everyone. Thirdly, do daily inspections of the elevator, and conduct daily inspections, weekly inspections, monthly inspections, quarterly inspections, annual inspections, etc. as planned.

2 Increase safety rectification and ensure safe operation

According to the "Elevator Supervision and Inspection Regulations" newly promulgated by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision, starting from March 1, 2002, all provinces and cities New installation inspections and annual inspections of elevators must be carried out in accordance with the new regulations. Compared with the old regulations, the new regulations have strengthened the testing of the overall elevator performance and electrical testing. The number of testing items increased to nearly 50, of which nearly half were rejected. The new regulations put forward more stringent requirements for elevator testing. Some elevators need to undergo the following rectifications before they can pass the standards. ① The old hall door has no auxiliary door lock, and the new regulations require the installation of auxiliary door lock; ② Emergency lighting and emergency intercom must be installed in the car; ③ The pit should have a non-automatic reset red emergency stop switch and power socket ④ Freight elevator hall door Install a self-closing device; ⑤ The user must establish equipment files and elevator operation management systems. In response to the above-mentioned problems, the company raised funds by itself and invested a lot of manpower and material resources to carry out rectifications one by one to ensure that no items are missing or missing, and to ensure that each elevator passes the annual inspection and compliance test of the new regulations. Every elevator annual inspection is a major safety inspection of the elevator in operation. Only if it passes the annual inspection can the elevator certificate be issued and allowed to operate. Therefore, we must not only pay attention to the annual inspection, but also standardize daily maintenance according to the requirements of the annual inspection items. For items that do not meet the annual inspection standards, we must resolutely rectify them until they meet the standards. Some elevator employees have a mentality of "emphasis on operation and neglect of safety". They believe that as long as the elevator is running, it will be safe. They do not pay attention to the pre-repair, pre-inspection and daily maintenance of the elevator, do not pay attention to the rectification of the safety items of the elevator, and do not take the initiative to Search and discover elevator accidents and safety hazards. This wrong idea will lead to frequent elevator failures and numerous hidden dangers.

3 Strengthen usage management and do publicity and training

Strengthening the owner’s management of the use of elevators is also an important link in ensuring the safe operation of elevators. The operation quality of elevators is closely related to the quality of maintenance units. The maintenance level, the management status of the user unit and the usage of passengers are closely related. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job in the knowledge training of elevator administrators and the promotion of elevator knowledge to passengers. The contents of knowledge training for elevator administrators include: methods of rescuing trapped persons in elevators, methods of opening and stopping elevators, methods of reporting elevator failures and emergencies for repairs, and methods of stopping elevators, etc.

The administrator must learn to manage the elevator according to the above methods. For example, when someone is trapped in the elevator, he must open the hall door to rescue the person. When the elevator breaks down, he must call for repair in time. The elevator in the office building must open and stop on time. The elevator key must be kept by a dedicated person and loaned out. Records, elevator maintenance and faults must be kept in files, and the elevator alarm bell and communication phone must be regularly checked to see if they are working smoothly. In the event of an emergency on the escalator, the emergency stop button must be pressed to stop the escalator, etc. Elevator passengers should widely publicize the correct knowledge of taking elevators. For example, children must be accompanied by adults when taking elevators. It is strictly forbidden to carry flammable and explosive dangerous goods on elevators. Cargo must be approved first before being carried on fire elevators. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the carriage. When riding the escalator, your feet must be within the yellow safety border. When taking the pet with you on the elevator, the pet must be held in your arms. In addition, a wall chart on elevator usage is posted in the waiting hall, a "Passenger Instructions" sign is hung in the car, and anti-collision warning signs and passenger usage regulations signs are hung on escalators.
