Qindi Town is located southwest of Shuanglong Cemetery, Cuiping District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. Zongchang Town, Cuiping District, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lizi base of the pro-land town. Cuiping District

Cuiping District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province was a county-level district established in January 1997 from the original county-level Yibin City. The Jinsha River and the Min River converge here to form the mighty Yangtze River. The golden waterway of the Yangtze River begins here, so it is known as the "First City on the Yangtze River". The origin of the place name of Cuiping District

In October 1996, it was reestablished from the county-level Yibin City. It was named after Cuiping Mountain; the mountain is towering, green trees, and the river bank. Got its name.

In November 2021, the Sichuan Provincial Government recognized Cuiping District as the fifth batch of Sichuan Province’s “Four Good Rural Roads” provincial demonstration counties.

In November 2021, Cuiping District was identified as the second batch of national pilot counties (districts) for appropriate technologies for myopia prevention and control among children and adolescents.
