Anhui Shitai Guniujiang Longmen Scenic Area Tourist Route Strategy

Guniujiang is one of the three high mountains in southern Anhui (Huangshan Mountain, Qingliang Peak, and Guniujiang). Guniujiang is famous for his bravery, strangeness and danger. It is the main body of Huangshan Mountain extending westward. It was called "West Huangshan" in ancient times. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful. There are 36 peaks, 72 small peaks, 36 large forks and 72 small forks in the territory. Because its mountain shape resembles a Guniu Jiang descending from the sky, it is named Guniu Jiang.

Recommended tour route

It is recommended to take the clockwise route, namely Longmen Lake - the mainstay of Quanshan Bridge, Biyutan Pastoral Scenery, Ecological Tea Garden, Zhuhai Tingtao Lover Valley, Sidie Waterfall, Yanjia Ancient Village Slogan Wall Ancient forest.

This clockwise circle is basically the first half of the climb and the second half of the descent. The whole journey is about 6.5 kilometers and takes about 2.5 hours at normal speed.

According to local people, Lao Tzu rode a green ox and traveled all over the world, preaching and preaching to various places. One day I was passing by here, and a huge strange bird fell from the sky and pounced on him and Qingniu. The green cow mooed to the sky, widened its eyes, spread its hooves, and soared into the air, pressing the strange bird tightly under it. Thousands of years later, the green cows became mountains, and the feathers of strange birds turned into many grotesque pine trees. Therefore, people call this mountain "Guniujiang".

Guniujiang is divided into five scenic spots: Zhufeng Scenic Area, Lingshan Scenic Area, Shuanglong Valley Scenic Area, Longmen Scenic Area, and Guanyin Temple Scenic Area. The first four of them are located in Shitai County, and the Guanyin Temple Scenic Area is located in Qimen County.

It is called the "Green Nature Museum" and "Wild Animal Population Gene Bank" by ecologists, and has also been recognized as "China's first original ecological tourism destination" by the envoys of 32 countries in China.

Among all the attractions in Guniujiang, Sichong Waterfall is a highlight. Standing in the jungle in the middle of the mountain, you can see a waterfall from a distance, like a huge four-fold waterfall hanging straight on the cliff. The snow is like jade, as if falling from the sky.

Walking in the mountains and forests, you can see clear pools of different sizes, crystal clear, corresponding pools and waterfalls, and hazy mountain colors, like ink landscape paintings.

Accommodation suggestions

It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Chizhou High-speed Railway Station to Shitai Guniujiang (including transfer). If you live in Chizhou, it will be very inconvenient. Therefore, it is recommended to live directly in Shitai County when planning your itinerary. It takes half an hour to get to the scenic spot from Shitai County, and the shuttle bus leaves regularly.

If you are a photography enthusiast and like to take pictures of sunrise, sunset, and morning fog, living near a scenic spot is the best choice.

1. Longmen Villa: The best hotel near the scenic spot, with hygienic and comfortable accommodation environment, no mosquito disturbance, and one-stop services such as restaurants and canteens. The room price is about 200 yuan, including breakfast, and the standard room price will be cheaper.

2. Homestay and farmhouse: The price is generally 80-100 yuan, and you can eat farm food at the farmhouse.
