How to get to Panshan in Ji County, Tianjin

By car

Beijing direction:

1. Take the Jingping Expressway-Panshan Scenic Area Exit, and then go straight. In addition, there is a tourist bus from Dongzhimen in Beijing to the Panshan Scenic Area.

2. Go straight along the Beijing-Harbin Highway through Tongxian and Sanhe, then go straight along the Bangxi Highway in Bangjun Town, Jixian County, and turn left on the Huandao Expressway (there are road signs) to reach the Panshan Scenic Area.

Tianjin direction:

Drive along Jinwei Highway to Jixian County, turn left at the Nanlou or Xiguan traffic lights, and go to the northwest intersection of Jinji Expressway around the island (there is a road sign) to Panshan Scenic Area.

Passenger bus

Take a minibus from Beijing Sihui Long-distance Bus Station, get off at Jixianxin Bus Station, transfer to Panshan Bus or taxi, and go directly to Panshan Scenic Area.

(Beijing to Jixian, 6:00-19:30, buses run every 15 minutes; Jixian to Beijing, 3:30-16:30, buses run every 15 minutes.)

Take a bus from Tianjin Hebei Passenger Transport Station (starting at 6:00 in the morning, 7142 times from 7:36 to 10:29, every 19 minutes) directly to Jixian County, and then take a tourist taxi to Panshan Scenic Area.

I came to Ji County, Tianjin. I plan to visit Panshan on the way. When I got off the highway, I saw a big sign saying where Panshan was going. I think this scenic spot is also the backbone of local tourism.

On the edge of the city, it was easy to find a donkey meat restaurant several times. By this time, my stomach pain was gone, but I still had no appetite.

I ordered donkey meat casserole, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and tiger vegetables. I was afraid that donkey meat would not be digested by fire, so I bought some plain ones, which had nothing in them.

While waiting for the food, I found that the people here do not have a Tianjin accent, but they have a Tangshan flavor.

The donkey meat casserole was good. I thought the donkey meat would be easier to digest after being cooked, so I ate a little more. I drank two bowls of soup and ate two vegetarian dishes. I felt full.

After dinner at twelve o'clock, we drove towards Panshan and saw several donkey meat shops along the way. I can't help but wonder why this place has nothing to do with Baoding, and how I got rich. (Donkey meat is popular in Baoding)

As soon as I arrived at Panshan, I saw a big slogan as soon as I entered the parking lot, "If I had known there was Panshan, why would I have gone to Jiangnan?" (later I found out that it was mentioned by Qianlong himself) . I began to sneer in my heart and thought that the mountains in the south of the Yangtze River are evergreen all year round!

Dry forests tend to catch fire in winter, and many hills in the winding mountains have long been blocked. One hundred tickets can only see one-third of the attractions.

When I went in, I suddenly felt uncomfortable. My stomach was swollen for no reason, I couldn't breathe, and I felt nauseous. There is no way to just enter the scenic area, and it is impossible to exit. Isn't that disappointing? I had to endure the discomfort and climb up bit by bit.

I could only hear the loudspeaker coming out of nowhere, broadcasting the knowledge of forest fire prevention over and over again, with self-righteous and clever propaganda, and all kinds of ancient poems were changed into a mess. I just want people to close their ears. It was just that I was confused and uncomfortable at first, so I didn’t remember such an alternative advertising slogan.

The sign in the center of the square declares that this is the place where Qianlong was blessed 32 times. The fine print below is very complicated and I couldn’t understand it until I read two lines. Thinking about it now, I feel more and more nauseous and want to vomit, and I feel more and more anxious and irritable.

Not far to the west of the square is the cable car sightseeing station. It wasn’t very uncomfortable at the time, and I thought about not being able to go up and down the cable car once, and not being able to see the scenery along the way. So I decided to go hiking first. Anyway, most of the mountain is closed, so it shouldn't be very high.

This decision is the stupidest and wisest decision of this trip. It's quite far from the square, but I haven't gotten to the correct gate to check in yet.

There are many stone steps all the way up. Fortunately, I wasn't shaking, but I was panting. It was getting more and more uncomfortable at this time, but I still insisted on going up.

After walking for a while, the road finally slowed down and turned into a gentle uphill climb for sightseeing cars, but it was still uncomfortable.

During the period

After entering the mountain gate, there is the scenic spot of "Three Rainfalls at Dusk". There is a pool below. I don’t know the origin of this attraction.

Maybe spring, summer and autumn can see some mystery, but right now a whole pool of ice makes me look silly.

Further up, a loudspeaker announced: "Stay away from the icefall to avoid danger caused by falling ice cubes."

Along the way, the so-called icefall is nothing more than An artificial drainage pipe that shoots upward into the ice, stretching for hundreds of kilometers.

Before, I was thinking that there was a waterfall in this place. It’s not for nothing that I caught up with the icefall now. I don't believe that this man-made thing has no trace of nature. It is also possible to create such means to attract attention.

There were a few places that left a deep impression on me during this period, but when I thought of this purely artificial thing, I quickly took a few pictures and left in a hurry.

Go back and greet your guests with pine trees. If there is no guiding stone, I really don’t know if it is a scenic spot, which is far-fetched.

But "Victory", "Vacuum" and the first poem written by the sages on the stone along the way are quite charming and worth pondering.

When I arrived at Tiancheng Temple, I was exhausted and extremely nauseous, as if I would vomit if I spoke more than a few words. I couldn't help but laugh. It's really terrible to go out and play this time. On one side of Chengsi Temple, many merchants sell peanut drinks, mineral water and tea eggs, while on the other side, there are temples, sleeping clouds and ancient pagodas. The tower is exquisite and majestic, sparkling in the sun. Looking at the clean and complete surface of the tower, it must have been renovated. Woyunlou didn't pay much attention to it and didn't mention it either. Several temples are full of ancient simplicity, worshiping gods such as the God of Wealth and Bodhisattva. The aura of Buddha is strong.

Look at these signs. It’s still a long way to Songwan Temple. Songwan Temple was the last stop after the mountain closure, but I'm glad I didn't mention it because it was really uncomfortable.

Then there is the Arhat Sculpture Garden, with various Buddhist relief statues scattered everywhere. Visitors climb all the way to watch. All sculptures and reliefs are created by masters, with rich expressions and exaggerated forms. I'm not in a good mood. I spat and walked over. ——I had acid reflux when I went up, and my mouth was sour. If I didn't spit it out, I did. This attraction is even more stop-and-go. The stone steps are not as easy to walk as when you first entered the scenic spot. The stones under your feet may be large or small, far or near. From time to time, there are several small forks that allow visitors to see sculptures up close, not far from the road.

I suddenly remembered that I once found a pavilion to stop. I could see at a glance that I had climbed many hills before I got here. The density of dead trees on the mountain, with the light green color of pine trees, makes me think that although this winter is not as good as in the south of the Yangtze River, it still has the game of the north. Passing through two intersecting hills, in the distance is a plain where Jixian County is located. The buildings are arranged neatly and evenly, but you don't get a full view. ——Blocked by this small valley not far away.

Kind of like catching a glimpse of a leopard.

What is most appreciated is often unknown.

Walking to the blessed land of the sacred cow, the "sacred cow" is a huge stone. Even if you think hard, you may not think that it is a cow. The source of this attraction is mainly the ancient and typical legend of "the farmer saves the cow in return", let's not talk about it for the moment.

There are ninety-nine stone towers in the forest, some of which have obvious signs of renovation, and some of which are simple and elegant but solemn. The ninety-nine stone towers are each different in shape, either round, ridged or pentagonal.

It truly showcases the art of ancient Buddhism.

This place is bitingly cold and gives people a weird feeling. Tallinn is in a canyon, and it is rare for the sun to shine all day long. The relics of the deceased are placed in stone towers, which are usually graveyards in the mortal world. They are dark and cold, and there are traces of them.

One of the most famous stone pagodas is the Taiping Zen Master Pagoda, which was built in the Ming Dynasty and is well preserved. Its shape and quality couldn't be described in a few words, so I had to forget about it. The most unique ones are the best

At the end of Tallinn, there is a stone called Xiaoyaoyou. I haven’t seen him for a long time, and I don’t know how this stone is related to Xiaoyaoyou. If it wasn't related to Tallinn, it would be just sensationalism.

The northbound stone is Songwan Temple. In front of the newly entered hall is a Maitreya Buddha, which seems very different from what we have seen before, and behind it is the Earth King Bodhisattva. Surrounding the main hall are the four heavenly kings.

In the future, the Mahavira is Nikum. There is an antique heavy incense burner at the entrance of the main hall for visitors to smoke incense.

When we get here, we are almost at the end.

Behind Songwan Temple are some small attractions, such as the sword stage. We still have to walk a long way to reach the main peak, Xuanyue Peak and Zhaoyun Temple in Nantianmen.

Unfortunately, the mountain is closed, but it is too empty.

To the east of Songwan Temple is the cable car sightseeing spot. I used to go for a ride, but now I go around the foot of the mountain.

I waited for a long time for the cable car, but fortunately I felt very comfortable and not anxious.

The cable car can seat six people, and our carriage can seat five people. There were two others, a girl about my age and her grandmother. The old man looks very old. I guess the cable car goes up and down. So I'm kind of proud of my decision to go up there.

The cable car is very fast and goes down the mountain in five minutes. The scenery along the way was not good, but I once again felt the "Jiangnan" of the north.
