1. The establishment of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Area ignited the spark of the "armed separatism of workers and peasants" and completed the great strategic shift from the city to the countryside for the central work of the Chinese revolution. It embarked on the rural encirclement of the city and armed Seizing power opened a new path.

2. From March 5 to 13, 1949, the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Party was held in Xibaipo. The plenary session focused on the strategic shift of the party's work focus, that is, the shift of the focus of work from rural areas to cities.
