Does the cement stabilized layer pave the test section?

Whether the cement stabilized layer should be paved or not depends on the size of the project. If the total length is 200 meters, then it is meaningless to do so. If it is a bid section and the paving length is very long, it is necessary to do a test section.

The purpose of laying the test section is:

1, verify the aggregate ratio of cement stabilized base;

2. Loose paving coefficient of paving mixture;

3, determine the standard construction method:

① Quality control of mixture;

(2) Paving method of mixture and applicable machines and tools;

③ Appropriate mixing machinery, mixing method and mixing time;

④ Increase or decrease of water content of mixture and control methods;

⑤ Suitable leveling and shaping machines and methods;

⑥ Selection and combination of compaction machinery, compaction sequence, compaction method, compaction speed and times;

⑦ Coordination and cooperation of mixing, transportation, paving and rolling machinery;

(8) Testing method of compaction degree, initially determine the minimum testing times of each operation section, which is limited to the frequency meeting the requirements of specifications.

4. Determine the reasonable paving and rolling length.
