According to the requirements of the Notice of Putian Education Bureau on Printing and Distributing (Pujiao [2023]13) and the Notice of Putian Education Bureau on Promulgating the Directional Student Plan of Provincial Level 1 Senior High Schools in 2023 (Pujiao Middle School [2023]19), Baqiao No.2 Middle School will be built into a first-class standard school.

Putian No.2 Middle School was founded in 1878 with a long history and rich cultural accumulation. 1956 was established as a provincial key middle school, 1997 as a provincial-level standard middle school, 20 18 as the first batch of provincial demonstration high schools, and in 2020 as the second "national civilized campus".

202 1 was recognized as the first batch of provincial safe campuses. In February 2022, it was named the first batch of demonstration high schools in Fujian Province. The campus covers an area of 248 mu and has a beautiful environment. It is a provincial garden-style unit with 85 classes and 4336 students.
