Restricted and Prohibited Items

The following seven categories of items are prohibited in the Olympic Games:

Guns, ammunition, explosives;

Fireworks, firecrackers, gasoline, alcohol and other flammable items , Explosive and dangerous goods;

Highly toxic, corrosive and other dangerous chemicals and radioactive items;

Imitation guns, crossbows, daggers and other controlled instruments;

Other items expressly prohibited by Chinese laws and regulations.

The following twelve categories of items are restricted items for the Olympic Games:

Beverages in soft and hard packaging, especially alcoholic beverages;

Musical instruments, including but not limited to playing instruments, whistles, etc.;

Any unauthorized professional camera equipment;

Knives, bats, long sticks, long-handled umbrellas, cameras and camera stands and other sharp objects or objects that can easily cause personal injury;

Lighters, matches and other ignition appliances;
