Restricted and Prohibited Items

The following seven categories of items are prohibited in the Olympic Games:

Guns, ammunition, explosives;

Fireworks, firecrackers, gasoline, alcohol and other flammable items , Explosive and dangerous goods;

Highly toxic, corrosive and other dangerous chemicals and radioactive items;

Imitation guns, crossbows, daggers and other controlled instruments;

Heroin, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and other drugs;

Hazardous substances such as harmful biological agents, infectious disease pathogens;

Other items expressly prohibited by Chinese laws and regulations.

The following twelve categories of items are restricted items for the Olympic Games:

Beverages in soft and hard packaging, especially alcoholic beverages;

Fragile items With various containers, such as glass bottles/cups, thermos cups, ice boxes, milk bottles, etc.;

Musical instruments, including but not limited to playing instruments, whistles, etc.;

Emergency straps, Bags, mobile phone straps and other personal items that are inconvenient to take into and out of the seating area;

Flags and flagpoles of non-Olympic and Paralympic countries that are longer than 2 meters or wider than 1 meter;

Banners, slogans and other items used for propaganda that are political, racial, religious, commercial and in violation of the Olympic Charter and Chinese laws;

Any unauthorized professional camera equipment;

Knives, bats, long sticks, long-handled umbrellas, cameras and camera stands and other sharp objects or objects that can easily cause personal injury;

Lighters, matches and other ignition appliances;

Animals except guide dogs;

Any means of transportation other than strollers and wheelchairs, including but not limited to electric bicycles, scooters, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, Skates, etc.;

Unauthorized walkie-talkies, loudspeakers, radios, laser devices, radio equipment and other items that interfere with the electronic signals of the Olympic Games.
