With the rapid development of Xinjiang power grid, the continuous application of advanced science and technology and advanced management concepts in transmission line operation and maintenance, and the continuous in-depth development of operation and maintenance work, our operation and maintenance experience has been greatly enriched and our management level has been greatly improved. However, with the rapid development of Xinjiang power grid, transmission lines are characterized by many points, long lines and wide areas. In addition, Xinjiang has a vast territory, complex terrain, diverse climate characteristics and increasing external damage, which brings many difficulties to line operation and maintenance. In the new development period of Xinjiang power grid, the operation and maintenance of transmission lines are facing great opportunities and challenges. Below, some suggestions are put forward on how to do well the operation and maintenance of transmission lines. 1. In view of the characteristics of Xinjiang power grid with many points, long lines and wide areas, it is necessary to explore and formulate a scientific transmission line operation and maintenance model. Scientific and reasonable operation and maintenance mode is the basis to ensure the safe operation of power grid and deal with accidents quickly, and it is also one of the basic conditions to ensure the safe and economic operation of power grid. How to do well the operation and maintenance of transmission lines is a problem that must be considered and solved by line operation and maintenance units. Xinjiang power grid has many characteristics different from other regions. Transmission lines have the characteristics of many points, long lines and wide areas, and the scale benefit of operation and maintenance is relatively low. At the same time, there are severe cold and hot summer, strong winds, rain and snow, high mountains, lakes and Gobi, complex geographical environment and harsh climatic conditions, and the safe and stable operation of the power grid is facing severe tests and security risks. At present, the inspection of transmission lines mainly adopts manual inspection, which requires a lot of manpower and material resources. Third, do a good job in the protection of power facilities With the continuous accumulation of experience in line operation and maintenance and the active use of various technical means, other accidents such as bird flashover, pollution flashover, lightning strike, icing and strong wind on transmission lines are becoming less and less, and the reliability and stability of the lines are greatly improved. However, judging from the actual operation of the line in recent years, external force damage has become the main factor causing major accidents such as line tripping and even tower collapse. Illegal construction, illegal construction and illegal tree planting have been repeatedly prohibited, making it more difficult to protect power facilities. In the future, we should strengthen our work in the following aspects. 1, take the initiative to contact the government authorities to realize the interaction between government and enterprises. Fourth, vigorously carry out employee skills training to promote the overall skill level of transmission line specialty. In recent years, with the accelerating pace of power grid construction in Xinjiang, especially the rapid development of ultra-high voltage and ultra-high voltage power grids, the contradiction that the development of professional talents and technical force can't keep up with the needs of power grid development has become more and more prominent. In the aspect of transmission line specialty, the main manifestations are as follows: first, the number of transmission line professionals does not match the length of transmission line; Second, the improvement of employees' technical skills can not meet the needs of transmission line operation and maintenance. Talent team is an important foundation for enterprise development. At present, the gap between new and old employees in transmission line specialty is still severe, and the lack of experts with rich experience in line operation and maintenance and high-level professional and technical skills is increasingly obvious. In the future, it is suggested to strengthen staff training from the following aspects: 1, and deepen the mentoring system. As far as the current situation is concerned, the former "one-to-one" mentoring model can no longer be realized, and only "one-to-one" can be changed into "one-to-many" or even "one-to-ten".
