Wengyuan county is the southern gate of northern Guangdong, bordering Li Anping in the east, Xinfeng in the south, Yingde and Qujiang in the west and Shixing and Jiangxi in the north. National Highway 106, Provincial Highway 1944, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway runs through, 200 kilometers away from Guangzhou, 300 kilometers away from Shenzhen and 0 kilometers away from Shaoguan 1 10. The traffic is very convenient. The county has a total area of 2,234 square kilometers and 300,000 mu of cultivated land, including 250,000 mu of paddy fields and 50,000 mu of dry land, with a population of 380,000. The county is located in the subtropical monsoon region, with beautiful scenery and mild climate. The annual average temperature is 20.3 degrees, the extreme maximum temperature is 39.2 degrees (1July 980 10), and the extreme minimum temperature is -5. 1 degree (1June 963 1+). Wengyuan Wuhua Tianbao is the hometown of Sanhua Plum, the "King of Lingnan Xia Guo", a thousand-year-old county and the largest orchid production base in China. Agricultural cultivation is mainly based on crops such as grain, sugarcane, sericulture, peanuts, vegetables, fruits, soybeans and sweet potatoes, among which grain, sugarcane, sericulture, vegetables, fruits and orchids are the pillar industries. Sugarcane and sericulture have formed a large-scale benign production of company+base+farmers. Sugarcane planting area is 60,000 mu, with an annual output of more than 250,000 tons. The sericulture planting area is more than 28,000 mu, and the cocoon output is 35,000 tons. Vegetable planting is driven by Wengcheng vegetable wholesale market, the largest vegetable wholesale market in northern Guangdong, and develops to surrounding towns with Wengcheng as the central base. The annual multiple cropping area of vegetables in the county is 260,000 mu, and the output is 370,000 tons. It has become the main economic source of rural areas in wengyuan county.
