What's the difference between Tang suit and Hanfu?

The difference between Hanfu and Tang Fu lies in the scope, history, concept and composition.

1, different ranges

The scope of Hanfu is larger than that of Tang suit, including pre-Qin Hanfu, Qin and Han Hanfu, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties Hanfu, Sui and Tang Hanfu, Song and Ming Hanfu and contemporary Hanfu, while Tang suit only refers to Tang style Hanfu.

2. History is different

The history of Hanfu is longer than that of Tang Dynasty. Hanfu is a costume with unique Han style with Chinese etiquette culture as the core from the accession of the Yellow Emperor to the mid-7th century.

3. Different concepts

Hanfu is the clothes worn by Han people, including pre-Qin Hanfu, Qin Han Hanfu, Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties Hanfu, Sui and Tang Hanfu, Song and Ming Hanfu and contemporary Hanfu. Tang suit is a kind of Hanfu, which refers to the Hanfu in the Tang Dynasty style.

4. Different ingredients

Hanfu consists of a plane, with simple graphics as the outline of the clothing. Its wide shape makes the wearer feel no oppression and bondage, and forms a comfortable space between people and clothes, which embodies China's traditional aesthetic concept of advocating broad atmosphere and implicit nature. The most important point of Tang suit is to sew five auspicious symbols on cuffs and neckline, which is the characteristic of Tang dynasty.

The relationship between Han Fu and Tang Zhuang;

Tang suit must be Hanfu, but Hanfu is not necessarily Tang suit. Hanfu, the full name of which is "the traditional costume of the Han nationality", is also called Hanfu official, Hanzhuang and Huafu. From the accession of the Yellow Emperor to the mid-Kloc-0/7th century (late Ming and early Qing), in the main residential areas of the Han nationality, with the "Huaxia-Han" culture as the background and the leading ideology, and the Chinese etiquette culture as the core, through natural evolution, a unique Han personality was formed.

Hanfu is obviously different from the traditional clothing system of other nationalities.
