4. When the soil is abandoned on the upper side of the excavation, the stability of the slope should be ensured. The distance from the toe of the abandoned soil pile to the upper edge of the excavation should be determined according to the excavation depth, slope gradient and soil properties.

5. For deep foundation pit or dangerous earthwork, reliable safety technical measures and disclosure shall be prepared, and eye-catching signs and placards shall be set on the site to avoid accidents.

6. When using a rickshaw to haul soil, the road should be leveled first. When dumping earthwork, do not let the car roll over automatically to avoid accidents.

7. During construction with an excavator, no other work is allowed within the working range of the excavator. No one can stand under the mechanical arm.

8. When the foundation pit is more than 2m, two protective railings not less than 1.2m high must be set at the pit edge. Close it with federated eye network, and set up special personnel's path, with 1.2m-high protective bars and baseboards on both sides, and close the path with federated eye network.
