The south extension viaduct project of Binhe East Road in Xiangyuan County is expected to open to traffic in early July.

The south extension viaduct project of Binhe Road starts from Xiwang Bridge to Nangou section of Tangxianshan tourist highway in the north (Wuyang Village in the south extension of Binhe East Road), and an overpass bridge is set to cross Fuyuan Avenue, which will be connected with Changxiang Expressway after landing to the south. With the roar of large construction machinery, the construction of Nanyan Viaduct on Binhe East Road is in full swing. More than a dozen working faces, such as upper beam support, main bridge tensioning prestressed tendons and bridge approach reinforcement, are simultaneously launched. More than 30 sets of machinery and equipment operate in an orderly manner, and 100 workers fight day and night.

It is understood that there are two major difficulties in the construction of Binhe Road Nanyan Viaduct Project. First, the length of the load-bearing beam on the pylon at a distance of 42 meters from the ground is 24.6 meters, which is a cantilever structure without any support. At present, the scaffold support is simplified to spiral pipe support, and the spiral pipe is about 80 tons, which is an ultra-dangerous project in the construction field. Second, the main cable of this project is composed of 19 strands, and each strand needs to be adjusted by monitoring unit. In the process of adjusting the cable, it needs to cooperate with computer modeling, which is of high scientific and technological content.

Safety is the lifeline of engineering construction. Since the project started, the project safety and environmental protection department has implemented an all-weather inspection mechanism, regularly checking personnel and equipment, solving the safety and quality problems in the construction process at the first time, and ensuring the on-site construction progress.

In order to ensure the safe and efficient construction of the project, the project department strictly implements the epidemic prevention and control requirements, continuously optimizes the construction scheme, strengthens technical support, overcomes the factors such as short construction period and poor construction conditions, and continuously increases the input of manpower and machinery to effectively guarantee the quality and progress of the project.

At present, the concrete of the main bridge of the south extension viaduct project of Binhe Road has been poured, the steel strand has been tensioned, the benchmark steel strand has been put out of the tower, the concrete of the south approach bridge is expected to be poured on April 10, the concrete of the north approach bridge and the cement lime soil of the north road are expected to be paved on April 20, and the tensioning of the suspenders and cables is expected to be completed on May 20.
