The safe use specifications of oxygen and acetylene cylinders are as follows:

1, oxygen cylinders and acetylene cylinders shall have a safe distance of not less than 8m when in use and not less than 5m when not in use. It is forbidden to use oxygen cylinders horizontally.

2. When oxygen cylinders and acetylene cylinders are used at the same time, they should be placed within a safe distance, and the distance from the open flame is generally not less than 10m.

3. Oxygen bottles shall not use up all the gas in the bottle, and at least a residual pressure of 0. 1Mpa shall be left, so as to blow off dust and avoid mixing other gases when refilling. The gas in the acetylene bottle should not be exhausted, and the residual pressure should meet the safety requirements: when the ambient temperature is less than 0℃, the pressure should be not less than 0.05MPa and when the ambient temperature is 25 ~ 40℃, it should be not less than 0.3MPa. Oxygen bottles, acetylene bottles, empty bottles and real bottles should be placed separately, neatly placed and clearly marked.

4. Don't wear clothes and gloves stained with oil to load and unload cylinders. Do not use gloves stained with oil to open the oxygen cylinder valve. Carbon tetrachloride can be used to wipe oil-stained cylinders.

5. Designated persons shall be responsible for the storage and use of oxygen and acetylene. When handling oxygen cylinders, handle them with care. It is forbidden to collide, throw or roll, and the bottle valve shall not be aimed at people.

6. Before operation, the operator must first check whether the joint between the hose and the welding is firm and whether the hose is knotted.

7. Empty bottles and full bottles must be clearly marked on the bottle body (for example, empty bottles can be marked "empty" on the bottle body, and bottles filled with gas should be marked "full" or "available"). Don't scribble, store them separately to avoid confusion.

8. Open the bottle valve with a special opening tool, and do not knock or hit the valve.

Specification for storage of oxygen and acetylene cylinders

1, oxygen cylinders and acetylene cylinders should be placed vertically separately, and fall prevention measures should be taken.

2. Combustible materials are not allowed to be piled up within a distance of 10m around the gas cylinder warehouse, open flame operations such as electric welding are not allowed, and smoking is not allowed.

3. The storage place of gas cylinders should meet the requirements of fire safety regulations, and should be well ventilated at℃ to avoid sun exposure. Storage places should be dry to prevent rain soaking; The temperature in oxygen cylinder warehouse shall not exceed 30℃, and the temperature in acetylene cylinder warehouse shall not exceed 40℃.

4, gas cylinder storage places should have safety management system, dangerous nature and emergency disposal notice, danger signs and no fireworks signs.

5, gas cylinder storage places should have dry powder fire extinguishers, conditional gas leakage alarm device can be set.

6. Other articles shall not be piled up in the gas cylinder storage place, and it is strictly prohibited to store them with chlorine, oxygen and inflammable articles; Acetylene bottles must be placed upright, and sleeping is forbidden to avoid accidents caused by acetone overflow. The bottle should be firmly fixed to prevent it from tipping.
