What is the Tsinghua University Association?

There are 9 gates in Tsinghua University including the main gate and the small gate.

The main gate of Tsinghua University is located 100 meters south of the "Green Cross". The main school gate is entirely decorated with granite and eight tall stone pillars, making the campus scenery transparent both inside and outside. Outside the school gate, a huge wall lies in the middle of the green space. On the north and south sides are engraved the name "Tsinghua University" and the school motto "Continuous self-improvement and virtue" written by Comrade Mao Zedong on the north and south sides.

The South Gate of Tsinghua University faces a smooth north-south avenue, with lush trees on both sides. This north-south trunk road was originally the roadbed of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, which may not be known to everyone. Time has changed, and this main road now carries not the roaring trains, but the dreams of Tsinghua people heading towards the future. Go straight along the avenue until you reach the intersection of North-South Avenue and East-West Avenue, and gradually go deep into the hinterland of Tsinghua University.

The Second Campus Gate is the symbolic building of Tsinghua University. The milky white stone door shines in the sunlight, and its smooth vertical arcs and horizontal square lines are perfectly combined, revealing its elegance and solemn beauty. This stone gate was originally the grand palace gate of Qinghua Garden, the palace of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The three characters "Tsinghua Garden" on the top of the stone gate were written by Natong, the Minister of Military and Aircraft at the time. Walking through the stone gate, the trees beside the road are lush and dappled with light among the shades.

West Gate, the East Gate and the South Gate are both on Chengfu Road, and both face south. The difference is that the South Gate is about 500 west of the East Gate.

The west gate is on Zhongguancun North Street, facing Qinghua West Road.

The second gate is inside the school. After entering from the west gate, walk east along the road on the right. About 1000-1500 meters away is the most famous Tsinghua Gate that is often photographed. .
