As we all know, domestic violence, as a common social phenomenon, is a serious violation of women's rights and interests. As early as 1999, the United Nations promulgated the Global Action to Prevent Domestic Violence, and identified the implementation of domestic violence as one of the five core goals of international anti-domestic violence. However, in reality, the research and prevention of domestic violence has not received due attention. Anti-domestic violence not only needs to clarify the victims' rights demands in the family and the time and degree of violence, but also needs to define the nature, types and relevant legal provisions of domestic violence. Especially for the victims of domestic violence, it is more important to seek help and collect evidence in time to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests. Domestic violence cases are often restricted by many resources such as victims and their relatives, village committees and local neighborhood committees. Therefore, in addition to seeking legal aid, many parties need to participate and work together. At present, many provinces and cities in China have established anti-domestic violence institutions or legislatures, and formulated corresponding measures and laws and regulations to regulate and prevent domestic violence.

First, set up a working organization to strengthen guidance and supervision.

Women's federations at all levels in Guangdong Province are playing an important role in the work against domestic violence. Local women's federations have set up investigation committees on domestic violence, which provide an effective reference for preventing domestic violence and an important guarantee for protecting the legitimate rights and interests of family members. According to the Regulations on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests in Guangdong Province, women's federations at all levels in the province should establish and improve the working mechanism for preventing and stopping domestic violence, strengthen the protection, guidance and supervision of women's rights, and coordinate and handle issues related to the protection of women's rights and interests. It is necessary to strengthen the mediation of marriage and family disputes, take mediation as one of the important ways for women's federations to participate in solving marriage and family disputes, and promote the institutionalization, standardization and proceduralization of marriage and family disputes mediation. It is necessary to improve the service system for women's rights protection and give full play to the functions of women's federations in grassroots mass autonomous organizations and the role of women's organizations. In terms of the construction of women's rights protection institutions, local women's federations should strengthen their own construction, establish and improve relevant organizations, and combine the cadre allocation of women's federations with the organizational reform of women's federations. In practice, we should strengthen the rescue and protection of domestic violence victims by establishing domestic violence shelter centers, building community domestic violence intervention stations and establishing linkage mechanisms.

Two. Strengthen legal aid to protect women's legitimate rights and interests.

On March 20 13, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) deliberated and passed the Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests in People's Republic of China (PRC), which came into effect on June 20 14. This is the first law on the protection of women's rights and interests in China. The law clearly stipulates that women enjoy equal rights with men in education, employment, labor remuneration and social insurance. Ensure that women enjoy equal legal rights with men, such as getting married and forgetting to make friends; Ensure that women enjoy equal rights with men in education, labor remuneration and other legitimate rights and interests; Ensure that women enjoy equal property rights and other legitimate rights and interests. This legal provision provides a solid guarantee for women's rights and interests. At the same time, local laws and regulations on women's rights protection have been promulgated all over the country to provide legal advice and assistance services for women. For example, Article 24 of the Regulations of Guangzhou Municipality on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests implemented by the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress from 20 15 to 1 stipulates that "women have the right to seek legal protection and help from legal aid institutions designated by legal aid institutions". Among them, Article 30 "Legal aid institutions provide legal aid to women with no or limited capacity for civil conduct" sets out Article 24 of this Law "Legal aid institutions designated by legal aid institutions or legally established public welfare institutions shall provide economic assistance to qualified men and women who have difficulties in seeking help due to daily needs after domestic violence", and lists out what matters should be paid attention to in providing economic aid services to women.

Third, strengthen publicity and education to raise women's awareness of self-protection.

Publicity and education is the basis of anti-domestic violence work, so publicity and education work is particularly important. On the one hand, it is necessary to strengthen the awareness and ability education of women and their families against domestic violence. Within the framework of legal provisions, combined with social, family and personal conditions, targeted anti-domestic violence publicity and education activities and related laws and regulations are carried out to educate and guide women to safeguard their rights and interests according to law. On the other hand, to curb and prevent domestic violence from the source requires the improvement of women's awareness of self-protection. First of all, it is necessary to raise women's own awareness of domestic violence and make it clear that domestic violence is a beating between family members. Therefore, women's self-protection ability in the family can be improved by popularizing legal knowledge of anti-domestic violence and enhancing public awareness. Secondly, strengthen women's own education, improve their ability to prevent domestic violence, and actively take measures to avoid possible domestic violence. In addition, when similar behaviors are found in the family, it is necessary to call the police to protect rights in time to avoid the deterioration of the situation.
