Reading on March 8th is free and voluntary.

Han Hongyan, a virgin worker of science and technology in our school, received the first prize certificate from Cui, vice minister of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Group Industry Department and director of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Women's Work Committee, at the awarding ceremony of the third national reading activity and the launching ceremony of the fourth reading activity held in China Museum of Modern Literature. At that time, the "Scholarship March 8" activity jointly organized by the Women Workers' Department of the Federation of Trade Unions of our province and various industrial trade unions has come to an end, and our school has become the only one in China.

The activity was jointly sponsored by Hongqi Publishing House, China Women's Daily and People's Daily, with strong support from the Women Workers' Committee of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Women's Work Committee of the Central directly under the authority and the Women's Work Committee of the Central State Organs, and lasted for one year. There are 23,582 units in China, 10 million female friends and more than 45,000 entries. After the expert review meeting, * * * selected 544 winning essays, including 8 first prizes, 8 second prizes 18, 38 third prizes, 380 short-listed essays and 8 best organization prizes. Under the joint organization of the Women Workers' Department of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and various industrial trade unions, a total of 5367 units and 605,000 female workers participated in this activity in Henan Province, and the number of submitted works was 1 1 000. Carefully selected and recommended by the Women Workers Committee of Henan Province, five works of Henan Province stood out in this reading activity, including the first, second and third prizes 1 department and two excellent prizes. Due to the leadership's attention, effective organization, solid progress and remarkable results, the Henan Provincial Women's Working Committee won the Best Organization Award.

Under the direct leadership of the provincial education, science, culture, health and sports trade union, the trade union of our school and the women workers' committee organized female workers to participate in activities, and * * * collected works 4 1. After careful selection, Han Hongyan and other five people's works were recommended to represent the school. In addition to Han Hongyan's work "The Most Gorgeous Dance" won the first prize, Hong's work "I believe tomorrow will be better" won the Excellence Award.

Through the development of this activity, a reading craze has been set off among female workers in our school, creating a learning atmosphere where everyone loves reading and books are everywhere, cultivating and improving the learning and practical ability of female workers, activating and transmitting positive energy, finding new ways, methods and carriers to further improve the quality of female workers, and playing a positive role in continuously improving work style and promoting the construction of learning, service-oriented and innovative female workers' organizations.
