Radar irradiation (fire control radar irradiation) is to irradiate the target with high-power directional radar waves, which can accurately locate the target position and then guide the missile attack. To put it bluntly, it is a close-range high-precision scanning search radar. The fire control radar is directly connected with the fire control system of the combat platform. By continuously sending back the target information, the fire data is directly set for the controlled weapon station after calculation by the fire control system, and the servo system of the weapon station is controlled to realize target follow-up.
