Historical origin of ancient willow village in Laiyang

Long, long ago, the ancient willow trees in yanggu county were still in a fertile field. People here farm and weave girls and live a quiet life. In the middle of this fertile field, there is a big tree, which is thousands of feet high. The shade covered the sky and the top of the tree could not be seen. It provides a place for tired people to rest and chat.

One noon, an old man was resting under a tree. Suddenly, a young man in official clothes came from the north, bowed and asked, "Old man, where is the way to heaven?" The old man was stunned. After living for such a long time, he didn't know where there was a way to heaven. Is this young man crazy? In this case, why not make a mistake and point to the big willow tree next to you and say, "Here, you can go to heaven along this tree." Hearing this, the young man gave the old man a deep gift and said, "Thank you!" " Then I climbed the tree, higher and higher, and suddenly I couldn't see anyone. The old man looked at it and felt a little strange. He thought, "You have to come down anyway. I am waiting for you here. " But after waiting for two hours, no one came down, and the old man became more and more strange. So he climbed up in the footsteps of the young man and went to the beach to have a look. Where is the big willow tree? It was a golden avenue, with flowers blooming, birds singing and the old man letting go. Unconsciously, he came to heaven. He lifted up his eyes and saw a building in the distance and an altar nearby. The first young man who came up is concentrating. The old man felt a little tired all the way, smoked a pack of cigarettes and recovered a little. It suddenly occurred to him that his hoe was still lying in the field! He hurried back the same way, where there was no hoe, and there was no one he knew or anyone who knew him in the surrounding village. Speaking of the old man climbing trees, people told him that it has been several generations since he climbed trees. In order to commemorate the old man and this sacred tree, people will come here to sacrifice on holidays. I don't know how many years and generations have passed, and an ancient willow tree has been standing here. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the village was named Xilu, and a temple was built next to the willow tree. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862— 1874), the Nian Army cooperated with the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom army to fight against the Qing Dynasty and Manchuria in Cao Zhou. The Qing government sent Prince Sengqin to lead cavalry to suppress it. When the soldiers crossed the village, they saw the ancient willow towering into the sky, covering the sky and the sun, so the soldiers could not do it. They were suspected to be sacred trees, so they dressed up to pay tribute to the soldiers. Local residents think that the ancient willow tree is auspicious, so it is named after the "ancient Liu Shen tree", hereinafter referred to as the ancient willow tree. This ancient Liu Cun, which belongs to Acheng Town, yanggu county, is 7.5 kilometers away from Huanggu Tomb in Shiliyuan Town, Longshan Cultural City Site in Jingyanggang Town of Zhangqiu Town and Longshan Cultural City Site in Wangzhuang Town of Acheng Town.

After listening to this legend, Liu further thought of Mulberry. In ancient legends, there are mulberry, hibiscus and empty mulberry. Mulberry and willow are deciduous trees, and catalpa is used to describe hometown. Fusang is the place where the sun lived in ancient myths and legends of China. "Shan Hai Jing" says: "There are hibiscus on the Tang Valley, and they bathe for ten days." The original intention of Fusang is that Dasang is a sacred tree derived from mulberry and a way to communicate between the world and heaven. Poor mulberry, an ancient place name, is named after a large area of mulberry forest. Legend has it that Shao Hao, an ancient figure, Yi Yin, a minister of Yin and Shang Dynasties, and Confucius in the Spring and Autumn Period were all born in Kongtong. Empty mulberry later refers to poor mulberry. "Poor mulberry people, on the shore of the West Sea, there are solitary mulberry trees, which go straight to Chihiro, and the leaves are red and purple. Long live the meal, eat it and get old the day after tomorrow. " In addition, poor mulberry is one of the important birthplaces of China culture. With the progress of archaeological work, three Longshan cultural cities have been discovered in Acheng, Zhang Qiu and Wuliyuan towns in the southeast of yanggu county. Zhang Xuehai, a famous archaeologist in China, personally participated in archaeological excavations and published important articles such as Two Groups of Discoveries of Longshan Cultural City in Luxi and Reflections on Several Ancient Historical Issues, and by extension, put forward new viewpoints of "Kaupo Sang or Kongsang" and "Near yanggu county". Poor mulberry is closely related to celebrities such as Huangdi, Chiyou, Zhuan Xu, * * Gong and Shun. In this case, it is not difficult to draw a conclusion that Acheng, Zhang Qiu, Shiliyuan and other towns in the southeast of yanggu county were once the important areas or central areas of Chiyou tribe's life. After being killed, Chiyou was buried in his original place of residence, so it is only natural that he should be buried and sacrificed by his own people. In a sense, the legend of "ancient willow tree" (like an empty mulberry tree) in Yanggu is no longer absurd after the excavation of the site of Sanlu Mountain Cultural City in Yanggu.
