On July 5, The Paper learned that the Housing Provident Fund Management Center of Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province recently issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Down Payment Ratio of Housing Provident Fund Loans" (referred to as the "Notice").

In terms of adjusting the down payment ratio of housing provident fund loans, housing provident fund paying employees who purchase a house in Hanzhong City and apply for a housing provident fund loan to purchase an ordinary house (144 square meters and below) for the first time must have a down payment ratio of not less than 20%. ; For purchasing non-ordinary housing (above 144 square meters), the down payment ratio shall not be less than 25%. When applying for a housing provident fund loan for the second time, if you purchase an ordinary house (144 square meters or less), the down payment ratio shall not be less than 25%; if you purchase a non-ordinary house (144 square meters or more), the down payment ratio shall not be less than 30%.

In terms of adjusting the down payment ratio of housing provident fund loans for employees in other places, if employees with housing provident fund deposits in other places who purchase houses in Hanzhong City apply for housing provident fund loans to purchase ordinary houses (144 square meters and below), the down payment ratio shall not be less than 30 %; for purchasing non-ordinary housing (above 144 square meters), the down payment ratio shall not be less than 35%.

Prior to this, Hanzhong City increased the housing provident fund loan limit in April this year. According to the policy, the maximum loan limit for single-paying employee families (where one spouse has paid housing provident fund continuously for 6 months) has been adjusted from 500,000 yuan to 600,000 yuan. The maximum loan limit for dual-paying employee families (both husband and wife have paid and deposited housing provident funds continuously for 6 months) has been adjusted from 500,000 yuan to 700,000 yuan.
