Red army battle site

On September 2nd, 1934, the Red Sixth Army Corps arrived near Jiangjialing. Jiangjialing, located in Yong 'an Pass, is a traffic fortress in Hunan and Guangxi. Gui Jun sent more than 100 people from the 19th Division of the Seventh Army, where Li Zongren and Bai Chongxi were located, and Guangxi Peacekeeping Force to stay at Yongan Pass and Jiangjialing. Gui Jun tried to stop the Red Army from advancing with natural barrier and superior forces, and prepared to panic in the Red Army together with Xiang Army. When the battle started, the small team leader changed the frontal assault into a feint to contain the enemy's firepower. At the same time, the enemy was caught between Scylla and Charybdis by going up the hill around Sha Tin, thus capturing Jinshanling, and then attacking the snail shell boundary on three sides at the same time. In the First World War, Gui Jun's No.1 19 Division, known as the "Iron-blooded Strategist", was defeated. On the 3rd, the main force of the Red Sixth Army successfully entered Guangxi through Qingshuiguan. There are still nearly 4000 meters of trenches in the former site of Jiangjialing, and there are more than 100 bunkers and command posts. The descendants of the Red Sixth Army learned about the fighting situation in the corridor county of the Red Sixth Army in detail, and hoped that the local government would dig deep into the red culture, sort out, repair and protect the revolutionary sites, educate the younger generation not to forget history and better inherit the spirit of red culture. The descendants of the Red Sixth Army Corps will also visit the Red Army slogan houses, ferries and meeting places in Shuangpai, Lingling and lengshuitan.
