World Food Day (WFD) is a day when governments around the world hold commemorative activities around the development of food and agricultural production. World Food Day was decided by the 20th Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Conference held in November 1979: October 16, 1981, as World Food Day.

Theme of National Food Security Publicity Week

The theme of National Food Security Publicity Week in 2022 is "Guaranteeing Food Supply and Secure China's Rice Bowl."
