Pengcheng Laboratory, also known as the Laboratory of Shenzhen Cyberspace Science and Technology Province, is a breakthrough, leading and platform-integrated new scientific research institution established with the approval of the central government? Pengcheng Laboratory, supported by major infrastructure and centered on major key research projects, has explored a characteristic scientific research model of "key projects+basic research" driven by two wheels. Actively promote cooperation and resource sharing, build and form a collaborative innovation system in Industry-University-Research, and carry out in-depth cooperation with more than 50 universities, scientific research institutions and leading enterprises nationwide. The research work of Pengcheng Laboratory adopts the two-wheel drive mode of "major task" and "basic research". Major tasks are laid out in accordance with "three verticals and three horizontals". The so-called "three verticals" refer to the three main directions of broadband communication, new network and network intelligence. "Three Horizons" refers to three levels of support: mathematics and theory, circuits and systems, media and interaction. In the direction of broadband communication, relying on scientific facilities and platforms such as "Silicon Optical Chip Technology Platform" and "Broadband Communication Full Scene Cloud Network Innovation Test Environment", we will focus on wireless communication, optical communication, air-space integrated network, deep space communication and underwater communication to build the core competence and technical longboard of network communication. In the direction of the new network, relying on the "Pengcheng Shooting Range" and "Pengcheng Ecology", we will break through the key technologies of the new network architecture, create an independent and controllable network system, and focus on the layout of the new network architecture and industrial Internet. In the direction of network intelligence, relying on "Pengcheng Yunnao" to build a world-leading intelligent computing platform, break through key core technologies such as high-performance cloud computing services, and build an independent and controllable AI basic software and hardware system.
